RAMLA Foundation is a beacon of hope in the heart of Kakuma, Turkana, Kenya. We were born out of a passion to make a difference in the lives of out-of-school children (OOSC), children with disabilities (CWDs), and vulnerable women and girls (VWGs) from both refugee and marginalized host communities.

Practice Areas

Elevating Lives, Empowering Futures: Holistic Support for Stronger Communities

Safe Haven for at-risk children

RAMLA provides safe spaces and basic needs to OOSC and CWDs from impoverished families, ensuring their safety and reintegration into school and their families.

Livelihoods and Environmental Awareness Forum (LEAF)

RAMLA provides life skills and entrepreneurial competencies to at-risk children and families, promoting sustainable agriculture and greenification through LEAF programs and partnering with the Turkana County government.

Public Education and Advocacy for At-risk Children Everywhere (PEACE)

RAMLA promotes at-risk children's rights through community sensitization and training programs, targeting refugee and host communities, families, schools, and workplaces, aiming to uphold their interests.

Supplementary Support Services for at-risk children with disabilities

The RAMLA Foundation will work with the Special Education Assessment and Resource Centers to provide support services to CWDs, their families, and communities.
